already for bed. in your pajamas. snuggled in with your four giant gulps of water. your two blankets. your soother....
just about to lay your head down you mumble sleepily.

"mommy... remember to rub my back ok...."

"ok sweetie"

"mommy... remember to come and check on me ok..."

"ok... goodnight... love you..."

35 minutes of silence follows.

then i hear...

"MOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMY?????"

"MOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMYYYY????"

me - "yes?"

"I think I am awake now... "

me - "sweetie it is time for sleeping"

"oh. ok."

"MOOOOOOOMMMMMY.... one more thing.... WHATCHA DOING????"

me - "cleaning. goodnight!!"

silence.

"MOMMMMMMMMY...... I am still awake."

me - "try to sleep ok"

silence.
