bedtime... you have been silent for three minutes or so. You sit bolt upright in bed and announce you forgot your bed time prayers.
" God.... help me hear your voice. thank you for food. thank you for leslie, ani and hisashi. thank you mama and daddy. Thank you for (at this point you open your eyes and start looking around your room) stuffies, light, kitchen, pajamas, window....... AMEN."
last night we had friends over (the millis's)...
they left and you prayed in bed....
"god thank you for my best friend ivy and sorry for hitting her and thank you for my little sister Ayla!!"
do you want to pray anything else - I ask.
"nope - i've got it covered"
